Outfit of the day

Hey guys!
Today I thought I would do a post on the outfit that I wore going for lunch. I bought a pair of black strappy heels from Penneys (Primark) recently and decided that I couldn't wait for a formal occasion to wear them because I loved them too much and so decided to try and incorporate them into a more casual outfit. I love how this outfit turned out and I think its edgy with a hint of class because of those amazing heels.

The jeans and flannel are also from Penneys. I rolled up the ends of the jeans as I am a midget and they are too long for me otherwise but I think that this added interest to the looked and made it look slightly more edgy. They are skinny jeans in a dark denim wash and fit perfectly in terms of tightness. They are tight enough to show off your legs in a flattering way but at the same time they don't feel like they're cutting off your circulation (I think we all know that horrible feeling).                                                                                     The flannel is a tartan pattern with the colours green black and a dark navy. The navy blue in the shirt and then the dark wash denim jeans really tie the whole outfit together. I originally was going to wear the outfit without the flannel tied around my waist but felt like it was missing that je ne sais quoi and when I tried it with the flannel tied around my waist, the outfit felt more complete.

The grey top is from Boohoo.com and is my new favourite top in my wardrobe. I love how there's something special about it rather than just a traditional grey crop top. The cut out aspect of the top makes it so much more interesting than the traditional grey crop top. It also cuts off at a nice length so that you don't feel to exposed (major bonus) but you also feel a little bit sexy.

I hope you guys like the outfit and I'll talk to you all soon!

The Saviour for Pale Skin

Hey guys! (if anyone is even reading this)
This is my very first blog post (so please take it easy on me haha). To start it off, I thought I would talk about my recent discovery and saviour. And that saviour is the Manic Panic Dreamtone Flawless Foundation in the colour white.

Like the typical Irish girl I am, I have very pale skin.. and I mean pale! Pale enough that I can never find a foundation that is light enough for my skin tone and also at a price that I can afford. This is where the Manic Panic Dreamtone Flawless Foundation comes in, A pump or two of this and I can suddenly wear the foundations that were previously too dark for me. It's my little miracle worker! To be honest I could deal with a crappy formula as long as the foundation lightened my too dark foundations to my ghostly white shade of skin BUT I do not have to compromise with this Manic Panic foundation as it does not change the consistency of my foundations whatsoever. And it has a PUMP which makes everything so much easier and it also is a decent pump and doesn't pump out too much product (cough mac pro longwear concealer cough). Even if you do not suffer with a case of ghostly skin like me it is still a useful product to have as our skin colour changes through the seasons and this product can be used to change the colour of the foundations you have rather than having to buy a new foundation! I have oily and sometimes acne prone skin and it has not caused me to break out, Yet another bonus! Below I show you how the Manic Panic foundation transforms my Rimmel London Wake Me Up foundation (in the shade 100 Ivory) into a paler colour that matches me.

Before                                                                         After

I bought my bottle on eBay for around twenty euro which is a bargain as you only need a tiny amount and it will last you for ages!

For anyone who has read this far thank you and I hope you enjoyed! Please follow my blog if you would like to haha.
